Some information about

PASADENA TOWNE AND COUNTRY SCHOOL

Pasadena Towne and Country School is an independent private school located in the city of Pasadena within view of the San Gabriel Mountains. In its fifth decade, the school has developed a reputation for the quality of both its academic program and its extended day care.

Towne and Country School is associated with the National Independent Private School Association (NIPSA). Although the campus is located in the middle of an urban environment, the campus is well shielded from the city's noise and bustle.

The school's faculty is composed of caring and well-qualified individuals with an average teaching career of well over 10 years. The curriculum stresses the traditional academic core of Reading (using phonics approach), Language Arts, Science and Math. Towne and Country also features an extensive Computer Science curriculum in grades 1 through 8.

Towne and Country's two summer programs build on these strengths. They continue to emphasize strong academics and sensitive child care.
